NC State's depleted lineup was able to get 5 hits and an earned run off Rocker. I like State's chances as long as half the team doesn't mysteriously test positive for COVID.
Hell if State had chosen any other pitcher to start game one they're probably celebrating their championship victory tonight. Vandy has struggled and looked awful at the plate when they're not given free bases.

Rocker has been shaken in previous games and he looked worried tonight. Vandy can’t play on natural grass field. I like our chances tomorrow.

The main thing that helps us is Sims and we still have other quality bullpen guys.
We don’t even have to score on Rocker. Just gotta have good at bats and get his pitch count up early and get to their bullpen by the 7th and not let Vandy score more than 1 run. We have seen Vandys bullpen. 3 or more innings against them and we should be able to get 3-5 runs

No but I’ve been pretty good about this stuff and I think they are hoping to get 4 innings from Bednar, 3 innings from Sims (4 if he keeps a low pitch count) and 2 from bullpen.
Rocker will be tough, we all know he can pitch 100-110 pitches tonight, we’ll just have to get some early hits off him.
