The Hog is being painted on the field...Could this game be moved to a more "friendly atmosphere" for the Hogs?

What are you saying? They are possibly switching the "home" around? I was wondering if they would consider that but I was also hoping it would be postponed.

They don't paint the Hog on the field for nothing...no confirmed reports of movement however.

Unless they swap games, with Texas playing at Ark Sat and the return trip of Ark to Texas.

Ticket Office is saying they are prepping the field as this is an option being explored by both universities, but may be impossible due to ticket sales...assuming the gate doesn't go directly to UT. However, if they do play the game in Fay., it would be an open ticket policy! Get in line folks!!!

That's not what we're hearing in Austin. Local radio stations are reporting that the game will be rescheduled to either Saturday the 27th or possibly Thursday the 25th. The 27th would suck because that the same weekend as ACL Fest here.

It would be logical to do this. The current plan is to play in TX this year and in ARK on like 2013 or 2011. They would just do the opposite if it is moved to Arkansas.

I agree with you. I just don't see how they could move the game to Fayetteville without pissing off 70,000 UT season ticket holders. They'd have to do something like ASU did for LSU back in 2005 after Katrina....honor all of the season ticket holders who wanted to attend. Hypothetically, that would mean if 50,000 Horn fans wanted to escape the storm and go to Fayetteville then UA would have to honor their tickets and provide them with seats. I don't think that the game can just suddenly become an Arkansas home game this late without a lot of people here getting pretty damn upset.

Totally agree(Who would have thunk it, an Arkansas and Texas fan agreeing). That would be the right thing to do. But how will it work when it comes time for the game in a few years?

If they moved the game to Fayetteville on Saturday and it was still technically considered a UT home game (honoring all of the Texas ticket holders that wanted to come), then the game in 2011 (or 2013) would be in Fayetteville again and would be a UA home game. At least I think that's how it would work.

Yeah... I hear it's a worst case scenario. I'm pretty sure they move it to the 25th. That whole ticket thing would be a mess to deal with.
