I hate to break it to you, man, but all of those articles you've read about teams (Wisconsin, LSU, et cetera) drinking towns/cities "dry" are bunk.
Knoxville has myriad restaurants/bars (not to mention breweries) and, as wonderfully as you travel and drink, it's simply not possible to have more than a single bar (let alone the entire town) run out of liquor and beer.

And the moonshine distilleries on every street corner in Sevier county. They might end up getting teabaged.
