I don't think programs like MTSU are what would cause an issue with scheduling. It's the programs who aren't top 10, but are also capable of having top 10 type seasons. Think Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, Iowa, etc. If they go 11-1 on a 12 game schedule how does that compare to a team like Alabama or Clemson dropping two rent-a-win games and going 9-1, and more importantly how does it affect seeding.

This is all just theoretical of course. No fricking way Alabama or Clemson drop those rent-a-win games that are worth millions of dollars to their athletics programs and local economies.

Those are P5 schools. They will all be on the same page as far as number of games go whatever that number ends up being
