In the wake of Covid, do we know if he can play immediately? When will we know something along the lines of this? Really hoping he can go game one.

Didn’t the NCAA just pass a rule giving all players a one time transfer with immediate eligibility?

This. Latest indication was that he has ground to make up in the classroom to play this Fall

As I understand it, his child spent time in the hospital this spring and he missed a lot of class time dealing with that. He can make it up this summer.

Right, it’s not like he’s unintelligent and there’s good reason for what he needs to do. But that is where he stands at the moment
