I'm well aware Miles got fired but you're either a HC or not a HC and those 8 games as a HEAD COACH were undoubtedly value experience for O.
See yes,he's been LSU's HC since 2016.

See yes,he's been LSU's HC since 2016.
I don't count interim years because an interim coach doesn't have much influence.
He didn't hire the staff, can't change any schemes midseason, didn't recruit the players, etc.
An interim coach basically just babysits the team until a head coach is hired.
