I think he might put him in an inning early. He was doing well at first then he started losing his breath and stopped locating the strike zone.

But I also think that game was too big for him and he started losing it under pressure.

Contrast to what Kopps did in the bottom of the ninth against Tennessee with a one run lead, two outs and a runner on third.

He didn't fold under pressure and got the third out.
