So let me get this straight. Everyone schedules have been out for months, so therefore the voters know who exactly everyone is playing well in advance. UGA and USC play two teams that aren't ranked, and both are expected to blow them out of the water. UGA pulls their starters when its 38-0 and their 3rd stringers allow GSU to get 21 points and UGA wins the game 45-21. USC beats a pitiful Virginia team 52-7. So USC leap frogs UGA, even though ALL the voters knew who both teams were playing well in advance before the season started.
So today, USC is off. UGA destroys a bowl team from a year ago. Virginia led ridiculous Richmond 3-0 at home well into the 4th quarter. The same Virginia team that the voters thought was good enough to allow the other media darling of USC to jump over the number 1 team. And for all intents and purposes Ohio State should have lost to OHIO, if not for some big plays on their special teams late in the game.
Now, why on EARTH do I feel like the media won't drop the Suckeyes like they did with UGA last weekend, who was never threatened at all whatsoever in their game?
Why is ESPN making excuse after excuse for Ohio State today, when they spent all week long justifying why UGA fell for winning?
Far from a Dawg sypathizer, believe you me, but I do hate the ridiculous double standards I see from ESPN and voters week in and week out.

I'm so tired of hearing about UGA dropping. who the f cares 2 weeks into the year? I honestly think OSU should drop to like 8 after this week, but would that matter if they beat USC next week? NO
Are you going to drop UF because they have only scored 7 on offense and that was only because they got special teams help

Ohio State sucks balls and you know it. You know damn good and well your precious media won't drop the Suckeyes one damn spot. It's ridiculous how pathetically ESPN and the other networks drool over the Little 11 and the Suckeyes.
Ohio State shouldn't even be anywhere near the top 10 after today, but we all know they'll sit right there at 3. Hell, they'll probably jump UGA since they had such a DRAMATIC comeback

Are you kidding? The Suckeyes won't even get double digits.
48-7
I hope after they're destroyed, yet again, they and their ridiculous conference drop out of any BCS talk from here on out and lose their automatic BCS bowl bid

You had to come back late to beat O-H-I-O. Since UGA dropped for only winning by 24 points, the Suckeyes should drop out of the top 25. You agree, yes? It's only fair, right?

What Ohio State does or doesn't do is the least of our worries Stan.

You only drop that far if you're Tennessee

Not when the media is in their back pocket. For them to prop up Ohio State is like CNN or MSNBC trying to convince me that Obama is a smart, intelligent, patriotic non-Marxist

it may be more like usc 41 osu 10

Uh, maybe cuz Ohio & the Big Ten have a huge population that contribute to tv ratings, and cuz Ohio St is going to play USC on tv soon, and cuz tv ratings is how they make their living.
BTW, any SEC team that goes undefeated will win the BCS now (sorry Auburn). TN can still do it if they win the rest of theirs.

Someone got into the sauce early...
In week 3, does it really matter what the polls say? I mean honestly, does it?
