Russell Sheppard maybe? It’s possible he was just misused, but he’s our highest rated QB recruit ever (247sports), our second highest overall recruit ever (Fournette), and these are his LSU career passing numbers:
0 for 0, for 0 yards and 0 TDs
He bounced from RB (FR) to WR (SO-SR) and averaged less than 200 yards receiving a year.
Arguably that’s just Miles being Miles, but he’s my choice.

LSU answer would have to be Ryan Perrilloux.
Love the guy and he actually did OK in a system not designed for him, but Tyler Russell would be mine for State. It is unfair considering the hype and system he inherited, but after slaying South Panola he was the savior to save State. Dude would've killed it at LSU, Bama, UGA.
Also to be fair on him, we were not used to hyped QBs before him.
