The Carolina Girls win D1 NDA National Title in Daytona

USC’s dance team, the Carolina Girls, took home first place in Division IA dance team performance at the National Dance Alliance championships on Friday for a historic victory. It’s the first national championship for the team that’s coached by Lindsay Sprague.
The team took to social media to show off its national championship trophy and banner at Daytona Beach, Florida.

Wouldnt be the first time aggie claimed a title that wasnt really theirs

That’s because there is two organizations that recognize National Championships. As with cheer, there is NCA and UCA. South Carolina will be more widely recognized as National Champions. The competition that takes place in Daytona, in both cheer and dance, are generally considered the more prestigious National Championships. In dance the two organizations are NDA and the other escapes me right now. Great achievement by both squads.
