They almost never play a team with better talent and rarely have to play teams with equal talent. This isn't some made up stat. Alabama's recruiting prowess is well documented.
You cannot evaluate a Bama QB going to NFL. You can project based on what you have seen and Mac Jones maybe that good but there so little usable game film to study.
Stats aren't meaningless if you never see him have to deal with pressure like he will in the NFL, but they sure have to be taken with a grain of salt.
