Last 5 games against teams that finished ranked

Justin Fields
2019 Clemson: 30/46 320 1 td 2 int
Indiana: 18/30 300 2 td 1 int
Northwestern: 12/27 114 0 td 2 td
Clemson: 22/28 385 6td 1 int
Bama: 17/33 194 1 td 0 int

99/164 (60%) (1313 yards 8ypa) 10 td 6 int

Big Mac
Texas AM: 20/27 435 4 td 1int
Georgia: 24/32 417 4 td 1int
Florida: 33/43 418 5td 1int
Notre Dame: 25/30 297 4td 0int
Ohio State: 36/45 465 5td 0int

136/177 (76%) (2032 11.5ypa) 22td 3int

But to be fair, Mac was on a completely stacked team whereas Ohio State is completely devoid of talent

Mac doesn’t have a cannon, but he is incredibly accurate and made 2nd and 3rd reads routinely, none of which Fields can claim.

If you want skinny Cam Newton as a ceiling draft Fields, if you want Drew Brees as a ceiling go with Mac.

But both will still need offensive lines and functional offensive systems or they will bust regardless of talent, something that many fans fail to take into consideration.

Aaron Rodgers would’ve been basically helpless playing for the Jets, while bottom tier guys can look far better than they are when surrounded by the right people.

Totally different QB under pressure. He will get pressured in the NFL.
