I will agree it wasn't the best competition but LSU also was returning very little experience, had no running game, a garbage offensive line, and they were Brennan's first starts.
The numbers he put up were "good" even if they were against directional schools all things considered.

The two games he lost, LSU's defense gave up 40+ points. Hard to win in that situation.

Perhaps A&M should give her a scholarship then since Kellen Mond had only like 180 yards against them.
