I think Philon is kind of a missing piece in the team's construction thus far, and could actually play a big role for us. Right now, we don't have a whole lot from a penetration standpoint. Sears can get to the paint a bit, but Estrada put on an absolute clinic on how to get inside the teeth of the defense. He's going to be a piece that we will really miss next year, and haven't really replaced so far. While he established his jump shot this year, Philon has always been more of an athletic guard who can get by his man and finish in the lane.

I was thinking earlier that Philon reminds me a bit of Estrada if Estrada was a better athlete. He also has a pretty good reputation as a defender. We certainly don't have anyone on the current roster with his game. If his shot is actually improving he could be a huge add.
