My point was that Nebraska football and Indiana basketball can owe a lot of their postseason/championship success to two head coaches over a 40-50 year period respectively. Clearly Indiana has remained more relevant. I just see a lot of similarities. But it probably is more likely
to see a renaissance at Indiana basketball versus Nebraska football.

Yea - Indiana can certainly be good again quickly. I don't think it has the allure to folks from outside the state of Indiana that some of the other blue bloods do on a national scale. The built in advantages of walking around at a Nike event in Vegas with "Indiana" on your chest aren't the same as the top of the line blue bloods, IMHO.
Kentucky, North Carolina and Kansas are top of the line, elite jobs. Duke would be too, but it's different being a small private school and it's entire run has been with one coach there, so it'd be a unique situation. Indiana and UCLA have gone through coaches since their glory days that have been good, bad and average, but none of them great. There doesn't seem to be anything holding them back, but they just haven't found the right guy - and they've also struck out on their targets in searches.
