Petty will either come out of the funk he is in or we will lose a game we could have won going away.

Ice cold next 2 games but finds a way to win. Petty 8/9 vs LSU to send them home.

Probably. Oats is doing all he can to reverse psychology him back into a shooter. He gave Petty our equivalent of the game ball after the Iona game for his "effort." I do agree he is at least playing hard unlike back during the WKU loss that got him benched. I wish we had a way to just flat out bench him again or limit his shooting while keeping him on the floor, but I don't know that Petty could handle an more limited shooting role his senior year in March.

In the meantime, somebody else has got to step up and take on the missing offensive production, and only JQ is doing it now. Nobody thinks that Jones is an offensive dynamo, but how can you criticize him for trying when nobody else is getting it done?
