Boneheads bending over backwards to knight for eachother on our beloved anonymous message board. Bless.
Aubie board allows no nuance. Can’t be critical of Gus on QB development/preparation because NFL coaches copied a few of his plays and the NCAA changed rules.
I realize there’s people here that are readily willing to assassinate Gus’s character because they don’t like him, his contract, his press conferences, whatever. That’s as annoying as anything else. But the butthurt that flows from even mentioning him now is awfully telling of the torment some of our tribe here endured the past few seasons.
Hopefully time will heal this pain and we can get started on Harsin’s flaws

I have no ill feelings towards Gus and think he deserves our respect overall. Not his fault he got a big contract. However, to suggest we cannot discuss some deficiencies that exist even after his departure is silly. To just label it as bitching, whining, or whatever cute word they want to use to describe it is lazy.
I don't bash Gus, but I will discuss his tenure good and bad.

Thats not gonna happen. He will be like Bruce Pearl and be totally untouchable.
I cant wait for the season to start and things are no better. OR maybe worse. It will certainly not be Harsins fault
If you cant see the insanity of what has gone on here the past few months, then you have just been programmed because of it.
