Go find it yourself it’s out there. Tigerproa told you the war rapport is talking nonstop about it. And on borads and other podcasts. So I’m just coming here making shite up? Really?

The reasoning behind the hype is his success in high school, his mobility, and his accuracy in high school and Bo’s lack of accuracy in high school >60%.

Personally I doubt Davis is ever the starter. I think Bo easily wins the job. Davis arm strength is questionable in my opinion. I hope I’m wrong on the kid seems like a great competitor.

Definitely the response of someone who can back up their claim.

But all of this literally means nothing.

I like that War Rapport podcast a lot, but those guys are just fans. Most message board people are just fans. There has been no REAL talk about Davis starting over Nix, and really...how could there be? He's barely even practiced with the team so how the hell could that even be an opinion that is anything but just wild speculation based off of nothing concrete?

The War Rapport guys grossly underestimate the experience advantage. They also grossly overestimate the projection of Davis' HS career to SEC football. They also grossly underestimate the reality that he's not a Harsin recruit and that as we've seen from who they HAVE been recruiting, he's actually not even the "type" they "dream" of. They grossly underestimate that this is NOT going to be a "spread offense", which means that expecting a true Freshman to come in and just pick it up is highly improbable. The part about Davis' mobility is silly because that is literally the only tool that Bo Nix is actually proven to be well above-average in himself, so Davis starting over Bo won't have anything to do with one guy being more mobile than the other.

Again, all they're doing is being rightfully "down" on Bo Nix (as I've been), but they're letting that unrealistically INFLATE Davis' perceived likelihood of success. The shite about his HS stats meaning that he's going to be accurate in a considerably more complicated offense in the SEC is nonsense. He might be, but throwing to wide open receivers on your ELITE HS team doesn't prove one's "accuracy". Just like you can point to a million college QB's who are accurate in QB-friendly college offenses, but all of a sudden look pedestrian in an NFL offense against NFL talent.
