it might be an indication that Cooper and Flanigan are returning next year. That would make Powell a sub on that roster.

Really, why? Do you think Powell is a PG? Do you think Flanagan is a PG? Do you think Powell would beat out Flanigan for the 2 position? If not where do you put Powell into the starting lineup? If you doubt what I say, look at Flamigans production with Cooper playing the 1 vs Powell playing the 1 vs Flanigan playing the 1.
