Conference Title - 7 pts

I'm SHOCKED that a Bama fan thinks regular season titles are better. They haven't won a tournament title since 1991

What a pathetic program

I hope you are trolling about conference tournament titles being better/more prestigious than a regular season championship.

Regular season titles are tougher to win because you generally win them by playing every team over a period of time while having to go into hostile environments for real road games. You have to be the most consistent team for a few months.

With conference tournaments, it's a neutral site (sometimes with very few fans caring either way except for UK fans who are all over the place usually waiting for their team to play). You just need to get hot and win a few games at the right time. But the conference tournament can definitely be king when the champ had little to no chance to make the tourney otherwise. So I do love that aspect of it. Also, the teams who have little to no chance have a lot more to play for than those who are comfortably in The Dance already.
