Saying he is tired of "unfair and speculative reporting," former LSU head football coach Les Miles is calling for the release of a report resulting from a secret 2013 investigation into allegations of sexual harassment by Miles, a report the coach had previously sought to keep secret.
A longtime attorney for Miles, New York-based Peter Ginsberg, said in an email Wednesday that releasing the report is the "only way" to clarify what Ginsberg called "unfair and speculative reporting in the past week" about the investigation. Miles had previously intervened in a lawsuit filed in January by USA Today against LSU in an effort to prevent the findings from becoming public.

Ginsberg said a description of the settlement was "incomplete and inaccurate."
Ginsberg wrote Wednesday that the Taylor Porter report addressed "certain claims involving Coach Miles" and that the release of its findings "is the only way to clarify the misinformation and to halt the unsubstantiated attacks on Coach Miles."

Seems that the fact he's wanting it released would be a good thing for him. Dude definitely doesn't strike me as the sexual harrassment type.

LSU trying to pin some stuff to Miles for their benefit? What is going on...just wondering?

How would that even work?

Theoretically it paints the picture that all of the alleged sexual harassment issues were in the Miles/Alleva era and that the current leadership is clear of wrongdoing. But all we can do is see what the investigation reports

There's an old adage that "whoever is first is right." That's what has happened to the Mad Hatter, and in this day of instant messaging, many a reputation has been lost because of it. If Miles wants something that is legally sealed, unsealed, I think we are about to hear the rest of the story.

Sidewalker knows this, but plays dumb. Nothing wrong with saying let the investigations play out which I agree.
I'm on the record saying that LSU just needs to release all documents pertaining to the allegations that are not already sealed. I strongly feel like someone internally is leaking information maybe to try and move up the food chain.

But it wasn't, thats obvious to anyone who has read the allegations so its a dumb picture to paint.
There are administrators at LSU right now who deserve to be fired if the current allegations are true.

There's nothing to play dumb about, attempting to pin something on Miles does absolutely nothing for LSU.

I wasn’t sure why Les wanted the report released...my reckon was that he thought he’d be vindicated but the facts look pretty bad.
Mad Hatter indeed.

Really? Seems pretty tame to me.

I mean, they’re not bad but they don’t make him look like a good guy. The kissing of a staffer and trying to get her to come back to his condo is probably about as bad of a look you can have without sexual assault (though the unwanted kiss would likely qualify to a very lesser degree).
