Who knew what?

You claimed he didn't have lateral movement like Bo. I mean, thats easy enough to pick up in college especially since they played in the same era.

I will say I watched almost every one his games his Freshman year and his style changed slightly after that year obviously along with how defenses played him.Still had great vision and balance though.

Who knew he wasn't Jim Brown good. Who knew he wasn't going to give you a bigger Walter Payton with sprinter speed. Lateral speed is everything in sports. Dion Sanders could match up with the best because he had that hip flexibility. The guy could go sideways as fast as he could go straight. It's mostly a gift, like being able to jump out of the gym. Bo Jackson had it. I don't think he had the determination of a Hershal Walker in college but he was stuck in the wishbone and not lined up in the I-formation. But Bo was the more naturally gifted athlete.
