I agree with you. Abbott is a stout pitcher but he has been known to make mistakes with his fastball and breaking ball by leaving it flat over the middle of the plate. He normally throws over 90 pitches per outing so we need to make him throw strikes and take advantage when he does make a mistake. He is thought to be a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick so I'm hoping our weekly bouts against 1st round material gives us a little edge.

I knew it was over after the ODU game... with all those swing and misses at the fastball, there was no way we were winning 3 in a row.
