After the last few years, it doesn't get old beating the dawgs. It's right behind beating auburn now after some of the bullshite of the last few years. I'm sure oates is well aware of the...stuff...that's been going on with UGA football.

For Nate Oats to have his program head and shoulders over some brand name coaches that infused some talent in the SEC a few years ago is really a revelation. After less than 2 seasons is really remarkable. Coleman would be rockin' if not for this plague.

Coach Oats seems to be relishing the moment as well. I'm getting convinced all that plaid he's been wearing is a shout out to Crimson glory.

You sound like a Tennessee football fan. The truth is, we all care, success dictates just how much.

National coach of the year? He has as good of a chance as anyone.

Success in football takes precedent over basketball by a long shot. As long as we have a used car salesman as a coach, I have zero interest.

He's got my vote. The most remarkable thing past his Xs and Os is the ability to play at a high level with so many injuries. Wimp was about as tough as they came and he would have his teams taking lunch money on the road and tourney time. Nate Oats has a different style but much the same attitude about attacking and playing tough defense.

I’d say a pretty good majority of SEC football fans don’t give a rip about basketball and couldn’t name a single player on the team, good or bad. But you enjoy if it makes you happy.

When is UGA gonna get them some of that "success" in either sport? Asking for a friend.
