this is a stupid decision for this kid... and many others.

The portal is getting overworked to the point kids are finding themselves without scholarships and sunk in debt by walking on, or giving up college alltogether. Crap!

If only anyone could have foreseen such an outcome when basically proposing college free agency...

Gonna be a lot of kids learning that honoring their commitment would have been the better option rather than leaving at the first sign of opposition. Not saying there aren't kids that have a legit reason to transfer, but it's definitely not all or even most of them.

Yes. In the rush for everyone to get that 'first round money's their incredibly shortsighted decisions end up costing these kids big. But they get to follow the coach who recruited them or get some precious playing time.

Here's a hint, if you have to transfer to play, you probably aren't getting drafted unless it's a Hurts situation. In that case, just get a degree and move on. Most of these kids better plan on a real job, instead it's all about the 0.0001% chance of millions. Same as kids with travel ball parents, give up the dream

On the other hand, playing the last year somewhere else after you've graduated I 100% support
