I don't know that much about Celmson, so I didn't know that. It shocks me the Skalski is coming back. He was a stud. I figured for sure he would go NFL.
I too was surprised. I think he wants to prove he can get through a playoff game without a targeting ejection.

I'm sure they are good, but do you really think they are that much better than Henry and Murphy? I mean, like I said....great depth, but probably not a huge upgrade.
I don't see anyone starting over Murphy. Thomas needs to be more consistent, which is a trademark of Foster's. I think depth is the main benefit, as you suggested.

I like what I have seen of Dixon. I think he will take the lead. It's just really, really hard to get the kind of production and continuity that Etienne gave you.
Lyn-J runs too upright and dances around too much. If he gets in the clear, he can take it to the house, but is nowhere near the complete, physical back that Etienne was.

He's a hoss, man. You could tell the difference in your defense when he went out.

quote:I knew Etienne was special. That first game is going to be a killer. I would have much preferred playing Clemson in game #3 or later. Our secondary is very talented, but very inexperienced. It'll be interesting to see how your young QB reacts. Lawrence missing a couple of games this past season might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. It gave Ugeleilei (Sorry for the spelling) some much needed experience. He looked good when he was in there, but like Etienne, there will have to be at least a little drop off...at least for the first few games.
