This will change nothing except that the players will get paid above the table. Competitive balance isn’t gonna shift, and it’s not like it could get much worse than it already is.

If you don’t think it could get worse than it is, just wait. You think it’s bad now, that the same big names get the big players without paying them too? Saban reels in top classes year in and year out as it is, if you don’t think he’ll outdo everybody even more when he gets to add all the endorsements he’ll be able to guarantee them, you’re fooling yourself. This will only make it more top heavy.

All we need is a couple of Senators from the hotbeds of college football,Connecticut and Massachusetts, telling the rest of the country how college football should operate.

Gonna be entertaining seeing a bunch of young and ignorant student athletes getting audited once they start receiving real money and not understanding they have to pay taxes on it. They don't have to worry about paying taxes on the money given to them under the table
