Nick Saban has a Mercedes dealership, screw the Dodge Chargers, those 5 stars will be driving around in style. The Red Elephant Club members will be buying autographed pictures and jerseys for all of their friends and family for Christmas, and they better watch out, because Vandy and Texas A&M boosters will soon be outbidding them for the best recruits. Yep, no way that NIL thing will just end up as a back door way to buy recruits.

So? Every big team pays players in the dark already. This doesn't change that. If anything it'll be more in the light.

That is the point. It won't be through the back door anymore.

Also, now the players will have to pay uncle sam his fair share.

This will change nothing except that the players will get paid above the table. Competitive balance isn’t gonna shift, and it’s not like it could get much worse than it already is.
