So today stops the bull shite excuses of it takes time to build relationships?

Or is all Harsin’s screw ups with the staff gonna be like just starting over on year 1 because of so much turnover. What’s the excuse gonna be now?

There are no excuses going forward. He's been in the job for a little over a year. That should be enough time to get a pretty good foothold and start cultivating those relationships he'll need to make. It's not as black and white as you're making it out to be. We'll need to show improvement on the field too. He's certainly got an uphill battle in front of him with the player losses we've had.

I get the frustration, but when you have a pretty unknown coach come from Boise and compete against well known coaches that have been recruiting the southeast for well over a decade, I'm not sure how anyone expects him to be very successful immediately.

The state is loaded for 2023. If he can't get it done in year 2, it's time to find someone who can. The biggest selling point now is playing time. If he can't be successful with high school kids and transfers, then it's just not going to happen.

I'm not trying to defend the guy. He has to show he can get it done. He hasn't really done that yet. There were a few wins in this recent class, but not enough to get us where we need to be. I just don't think it's a remotely fair comparison putting him up against guys that have been doing it here for years.
