When I say hate, I don't mean I personally hate the man. I wouldn't spit on him in the street or anything. If i met him id shake his hand and introduce myself.

But I figuratively hate what he symbolizes, the feeling we had under his tenure after every season, what he looks like, and how me makes me feel. You mention Dooley and Kiffin, well, I hate them for what they did too. For many of the same reasons and many different ones. I hate many administrators who have led us to this point. My "hatred" is nondiscriminatory. Probably won't subside until we can stabilize a little bit and win a game or two.

Kiffin is more entertaining and endearing than Dooley or Butch, and has had some success since he left, so maybe that answers your question a little bit. I do compare him to an ex girlfriend who you talk shite about but would take back in an instant given the chance.

You originally asked why fans feel this way towards Butch, and I gave you a list of reasons. Im sorry you dont agree. Maybe you'd feel differently if you were a VOLS fan and went through it all
