So honest question. Would an SEC coach leave secure job, where he just signed an extension, got a commitment to build up the facilities and has darn good talent all to go to an institution that committed God knows what but it was bad enough to fire a HC and 9 assistants.....and the NCAA hasn’t even ruled yet!

Would that be a logical thing to do?

Because Tennessee is the hot ex that is fun in bed and has a better personality. If Tennessee wants Lane, they get him. Ole Miss isn’t a factor at all here.

Also another item to note. Starters are fleeing the coup and lots of signees are reneging on their NLI’s.

Why would an SEC coach go there. That ain’t a lateral move. That is a toxic job that ranks lower than an outhouse FCS level job. You have Steele to be your Matt Luke, be thankful for that.
