VOLS are always a good hire away from being back. Problem is this administration has been poorly run for nearly two decades now

There’s enough talent within a 200 mile radius of Knoxville that it doesn’t matter if Bama/Georgia/Auburn/Clemson are good, VOLS with the right coach could reach their potential again imho

UT is an old dinosaur program at this point. They have a lot of fans but they are aging out. You don't see nearly as many UT clad folks as you did even 10 years ago. They have a big stadium but it is an old POS. They just aren't the name that they once were.

No way the Vols will be back anytime soon. Not enough talent in the state and too nutty of a fan base. They fired a HOF coach on a whim and squandered years of bad hires. Beautiful place but unfortunately it is a mediocre program. They claim multiple national titles when they only have won one title in the 1998. The deception of thinking you are something you are not leads a fan base to have a mob mentality.
