Will definitely be looking for that next WR to step up and continue the legacy that has been pretty insane dating back to the early freeze years.
Interesting story to follow is Plumlee. He was almost certainly transferring to play QB somewhere, but because we had no WRs left for the bowl game they talked him into playing slot, and he balled out. He had some incredible catches over the middle, and 2 huge catches in the 4th quarter one on a 3rd down in traffic and another on a wheel route where he blew by everyone in coverage. That was after only 1 week of practice. Everyone is saying he is a legit NFL slot guy if he learns the routes. He has the speed and the toughness to play the position.
If Plumlee stays and plays slot we will be set at WR. He is playing Baseball this spring for us so that is a good sign to me that he is staying. Would be hard to convince a team to take him at QB if he is not willing to transfer to play spring ball and learn the offense.
