Since Florida and Alabama are losing most of their players next year, who would take over?

In case Florida and Alabama doesnt perform well with its young team next season, who will take advantage of that the most, Georgia, Lsu or Texas A&M?

Georgia has to get it done at some point, right?

RIGHT?

Seriously, Georgia really should be favored on paper. If they don't take advantage of the other contenders rebuilding next year, then I just don't know when they ever will.

I think LSU has the talent to be a contender next too, but we will see how the coaching staff comes together. I think that is still a big question mark.

We have to wait and see what Juniors declare for Alabama. Jobe and Barmore are key for the Alabama defense. Both could declare or both could return.

If both return the Alabama defense will be the best unit in the SEC. Alabama has loaded up on O-line talent and has better RBs than Wrs going forward. They will lean on the run more so than the last 3 years. I think they will go undefeated in SEC play again.

I don't know if they win the whole thing.

Texas A&M will have the best shot of taking advantage. They have the next best roster and coaching staff in the west.

UGA still has to develop some Wrs. Its been two season in a row where they were mediocre there.

Do you mean all these other teams aren't losing the same amount of players? Will, we not have our 85? And lumping what's in the talent cupboard in Gainesville with Tuscaloosa is frankly where it all went wrong.

You answered your own question.

LSU will be loaded and experienced.

Georgia has the best team on paper going into next season.

Georgia - Florida again in the East, not sure there is another team that can take that next step.

Alabama - Texas A&M in the West, both teams losing some players though

SoG normally does a thread breaking down and ranking each team based on returning players.

For once, LSU will be near the top of the list with players returning, most importantly in the trenches and at QB.
