I’ll bite. At least for this past year...It’s really pretty simple. 2019 LSU players reached the mountain top. Almost every major starter’s draft stock had nowhere to go but down. Big coordinators leave and you don’t have nearly enough time to learn a new defensive system/get offensive chemistry bc of Covid restrictions.

Compare that to the incentive of Bama’s players who were coming off 2 straight disappointing seasons
