New GM wants to make sure Watson is happy with it.

What a meteoric rise even if he doesn't get a HC job this year.

IDK. This Watson kid is petty good. 4823 yards this year.

Pretty wild - guy must be insanely impressive to both talk ball with but also at presenting a plan.

I think Atlanta is also looking at him, and anything is a better situation than the Texans who have nothing to work with or build upon. What a mess that team is

Reminds me of Kliff Kingsbury, but moved up even more quickly. He was a peon on Sumlin's UH staff, to A&M's OC with Johnny, to TTU HC, to AZ HC in like 8 years.

There are no similarities between Joe Brady and Kliff Kingsbury.

None at all.

Quit trying to draw a connection between your pathetic program and LSU.

TIA.

Yea, we are, but our situation is worse than Houston. Aging QB on a relatively new deal and a terrible cap situation.

If Blank will guarantee 4 years to the GM/Coach (who will probably be linked) to tear it down and start from scratch like the Dolphins then it is could be an enticing job. But it will not be a quick fix.

Heckuva phenom. Hope he does well. Seems like a good guy and football man even at such a young age.

Will Julio return to the Birds in 2021? I don't believe so.

That, and the fact that no one likes the Falcons.

I see no reason for them to hang on to any player over the age of 30 that has any value whatsoever.

However, Arthur Blank has become a big ole softy ever since United won MLS so he'll probably keep Julio and Ryan around to be "Falcons for life" even if it doesn't help the franchise.

Doesn't Houston basically not even have a draft this year - first pick in like the third round? Have to rely on Free Agency and existing players

No first or second this year.

Bob sold off so many damn draft picks and then couldn't even manage to get a single first round pick back for Hopkins. The cap situation aint pretty either.

Which is why Atlanta would be a better situation. I wonder if he gets a look in Philadelphia who is supposed to pursue Riley ...

I wonder why more don't try to pursue Day at tOSU

Our salary cap situation is as bad or worse than the Texans and our QB situation is about as bad as a new coach could ask for........Aging veteran who is the face of the organization with a huge, untradeable contract and an owner who really, really wants him to finish his career there. Compare that to the Texans who have a young phenom who OC's salivate over.

So what is the best NFL HC position this offseason? Philly? I'd love to see Brady at the Texans. Just think there are better situations

I think Houston because of Waston. Having a damn good QB is the #1 needed and most difficult thing to do the NFL. They can cover a lot of other warts.
