Well he should’ve limped his arse to the sideline. It’s football. He asked for it and he got cooked. “He was hurt” is an excuse. He was playing, and he got burnt. Just like in 2019

This is exactly what I saw as well...im new here and to football. Are most LSU fans delusional enough to say that stingley still got the better of smith?

WHO WOULD CALL SUCH A COVERAGE?!

It was a 2 score game. Aranda said he called a coverage where Stingley would take inside leverage and have a safety over the top. The safety did the wrong thing.

It absolutely was garbage time. We were playing prevent. I’m sorry that you want to believe your team was close to winning that game. They weren’t

If stingley runs a 4.3 I guess Smith runs like a 4.0

Yes, one we’re all too familiar with from Bama fans last year

Except Tua looked fine and ran fine. While Stingley was struggling to walk

I’m sure Stingley would have gone to the sidelines if we actually had available cornerbacks for replace him with, and he did go to the sidelines for parts. Then when our #6 and #7 CB got burned repeatedly he felt like he had to go back out

And if Stingley gets a faster 40 time?

Dude stop it.

They called prevent Smith from beating tf out of Stingley on those.

So it was someone else’s fault.

Then he should probably focus on running in football pads instead of tights, because 6 has made a habit of running by him

Ok so let’s see

We have a slant, which I’m pretty sure I could find Surtain giving up a bunch of last year if I tried

Then we have the play where Aranda blatantly admitted the safety was supposed to be with Stingley instead of where he was

Then we have a touchdown where Stingley isn’t even looking. Big whooop?

And lastly a play where Stingley was injured

Congrats on proving your point I guess?

Stats are a terrible way to compare corners. A shitty corner that gets thrown at a lot will have tons of tackles.

If a safety was supposed to be helping, wouldn’t Stingley have outside leverage and try to move Smitty closer to the middle of the field so a safety could make a play on the ball?

What fricking safety did y’all have that was supposed to come over and help your bum on that play?

You are in the upper echelon of homers on the entire world of message board CFB fans. I bet you’re a fricking terrible employee. One excuse after another.

You win buddy, Stingley can obviously lock down Devonta Smith (unless he is a little nicked up, or the safety isn’t helping, or it’s a slant, or the clock is under two minutes, or he isn’t looking). Sleep easy tonight and know that Derrick owned Devonta. That’s how you saw it, don’t let me convince you otherwise

I'll take the guy who runs past the 4.3 in pads rather than the guy who runs the 4.3 outta pads. Everybody is all american till the pads come on

But if stingley runs faster than a 4.0 my hats off to him

Let's just say Stingley won't be confused with Ronnie Lott or Andre Waters when it comes to initiating contact...

Knowing what we know about the efficiency of Alabama’s offense this year and the health and poise of the QB..

Does 2020 Alabama beat 2019 LSU?

I’ve got to think they CLEARLY have a better shot than 2019 Alabama’s mess of a team did.
