I guess he'll be a great recruiter, and Harsin can mold his offense with him

If Bobo was responsible for figuring out that great running back rotation at UGA with all those 5* guys then I'm on board!

He wasn't, is Bobo known as a great recruiter? I thought he was there in the Richt years when they were always frustrated with their OL classes.

Harsin seems to understand DL OL are a top priority as he mentioned in his press conference. Got to see how it plays out but so far it all looks good to me.

I looked at Bobo's recruiting page on 24/7. He has brought in a shitload of 4 and 5 stars over his career. He knows Georgia, obviously. He is Kirby's best friend (best man at wedding) so at least we know Kirby won't negative recruit against him.
Even if his offense is 2005'ish, I am sure he is smart enough to adapt. Fisher still runs basically the same offense he ran at Auburn under tot and he seems to be doing pretty well. It's not so much the offense as it is 1) Talent and 2) Execution. Besides, Harsin is an offensive guy and is HC, so I am sure he'll have input.
LSU in 2019 was good because they had the fricking Heisman winner at QB and like 4 1st round WR's. Brady gets credit, but let's face it, without that talent do they really win the NC? Nope. Same with Kiffin and Sark at Bama. Those 5 stars 3 deep makes a coach look brilliant.
I am just glad Harsin has it done and we can move on. If Bobo/Mason can bring us talent, then that's 3/4's the battle.

Kirby would tell a recruit his own child was a piece of shite if he thought it'd help him land him.

Good idea to make another thread.

I only did because I like hearing specific input instead of getting lost in the weeds of a giant generalized thread

I’m all for it. Finally some QB development.

Exactly.
QB’s under Bobo and their career #’s
David Greene: 11,528 yards 72/32
Matt Stafford: 7,732 51/32
Aaron Murray 13,166 121/41
I’m hopeful he can work his magic with Nix.
