I think Wes Mitchel said it best yesterday. At the core we have an OC who is best friends with our former hc. He knew that not winning was going to cost his best friend not only his job but likely his last opportunity to be a hc at this level. If you really think bobo didn't do everything that he could to win i just don't know what to tell you

Nobody should hire their friends if they want to stay in business. Muschamp is loyal to a fault, and it bit him in the @$$. Again.

Friendships and the like can blind people into doing the wrong thing(s). Bobo could have honestly thought he was doing the right thing. He wasn't. There's such a thing as short term thinking vs long term thinking. Starting Hill might have been good short term, but long term it was awful. One simple act has set our program back 5-10 years. Again.

Bobo's an idiot, I hate him, and I can't wait until he's as far away from our program as he can possibly get.

The writing was on the wall for Muschamp before Bobo was even hired. Our own president let it slip that we were looking into firing him a month before Bobo took the job.

The best way for Bobo to have helped Muschamp would have been to actually make a change at QB when it was required. The image of Muschamp's stubbornness and refusal to adapt was widespread knowledge and is what ultimately did him in.

There is no way our staff didn't hear the public outcry against Hill week-after-week from October to November. My personal belief is that Bobo recognized that continuing to play Hill after Muschamp was fired would not bode well for his job at SC with the boosters, so he put in Doty to make it look like he was embracing the future.

Even if that's not the case, it's clear to everyone with eyes and a brain that Hilinski is far more talented than a kid who has been in college for 5 years and didn't accomplish anything except 3 torn ACLs in the damn Mountain West. SC fans and boosters would have been happier if Hilinski played.

I don't doubt that he did everything he could. Thats the point, the point is he's a dinosaur and what he knows how to do is play 90's football. His best friend hiring him along with Mclendon was just a bunch of UGA boys milking us.
