In addition to several of these in this thread, I've always wanted to see FGs scored in a more "tiered" system to make the long shots worth more.

0-19 yds = 1 point
20-29 yds = 2 points
30-39 yds = 3 points
40-49 yds = 4 points
50-59 yds = 5 points
60+ yds = 6 points

This would also do a lot to "balance" the game more and give less advantage to the offenses, as they'd take more chances inside the 30 when they know they can only walk away with 2 or less points on 4th down.
