If not I can't see him being much more than a camp arm. I don't think his current resume will get him drafted...

Thoughts?

Hasn't he already played like 6 years?

He’ll get drafted. 6’6 240 with a legitimate 90 yard arm. He’ll never start but he’ll be drafted. The NFL is dumb and proves it every year. Remember Christian Ponder? E.J Manuel? Russel? Daniel Jones? These guys drool over the intangibles he has.

But Arkansas is his last chance to redo this year and make a huge impact for next year! He needs more time in college!

While I very much appreciate what he did here, and he did very well at Arkansas this season with what we had to work with... He's never going to be a great triggerman for the Briles offense.

Take what you can get from the NFL.

We have what appears to be good young talent behind him that is better suited for this system. If we roll them out and they fail next year then they fail. We have to give them a chance at some point in time so it is next year or never.

Completely agree. I think he’s been great for us this season, what we needed for sure. But if this year has taught anyone anything it should be to go for it when the getting is good. And I doubt one more season will make a difference as far as his projections.

Franks backup looked fairly promising to me.

He only has 4 interceptions this year. Probably a few more fumbles though. He does hold on to the ball too long but overall hasn’t put it in jeopardy too much.

Deep knee bruise, probably hurts but should be fine

Franks needs to go to a team like NE and then get the shite coached out of him for 2-3 yrs before he should ever think about seeing the field.

Unless he unlearns how to constagntly shite the bed on 3rd down and stops holding onto the ball for 2 seconds too long and take mass amounts of sacks, he's not going to do shite in the NFL.

I'm glad he came to Arkansas. It's time to love on. His 2 backups are far far more suited for a Briles offense than Franks.
