If you subscribe to one. Are you cancelling?

They're worthless. Any scoop they'd get will be here in 20 minutes.

I use a buddy’s login. Not sure if he’s canceling.

Years ago I paid for ITAT but got tired of the constant Nick Saban is cheating threads and worthless practice videos.
Like you said. No need for them anymore and it’s not like any of them scooped anything.
If anything they outright went out of their way to make auburn look bad for their own gain.

I was on 247 for years. I got tired of Ron crawling out of his cave during the coaching carousel every year and feeding rumors and propping up crazy narratives to generate clicks. IMO he pretends he has coaching sources when he really has agent sources and they use him. I can't imagine paying for one of those sites now.

If you download Bleacher Report app and some others and select Get notifications you get stuff about as fast as anywhere else.

So why do people still subscribe? Is it the older generation still doing it because that is just what they’ve always done?

Entertainment.
People pay for entertainment ALL of the time.

Yep, I use 247 and Keith does a good job. I constantly bitch about the lack of basketball coverage and so do several others, they haven't even tried to get better.

Keith does a good job on recruiting. Otherwise it’s pointless

I subscribe but I hate missing out on the juicy details behind the coach speak. Like I found out here that Kareem Canty and Dhaquille got into a fight and that’s the shite I love to hear about.
The juicy details are far and between though. Mostly regret being subscribed.
As A2E says people are willing to pay for shite these days. Subscription as a service. From YouTube premium to Amazon prime. If something makes your life easier or better, someone will put a fee on it.

Wasn't Kareem dating a crazy arse softball player?

Yeah, I don't even get emails about basketball games anymore now that we've taken ourselves out of the tournament. Not click bait enough for them this season. I always use an ad blocker, but I don't even click anymore out of principle when they try to get you to load their ads just to see a little tiny tidbit of information that they didn't even break. I just come here or search Twitter.

Cant blame pay sites:

A powerful set of Auburn boosters tried to intimidate search committee members. They told AD Allen Greene if he went against their wishes, they'd try to run him out of town. But Greene never backed down from wanting to do a national search.

I generally like Allen Greene thus far but this article is basically pro Greene propaganda.

Does anyone subscribe to the Auburn Observer that JFerg runs?
I've always thought Ferg was really good. Wondering if it is worth it to get a sub there and support him

I don’t subscribe, but I think I’m getting ready to. I registered for free when they first started and listen to the free podcast he puts out every week. I still get weekly emails and the content seems pretty good. Definitely more basketball coverage than you will get anywhere else.

I’m subscribed but have only been so for about 2 weeks now. I like JFerg so it’s good
