Most on here complaining probably never attend the school they cheer for, never played football, and never been in a position to instantly become millionaires and could have it taken away do to an injury because the school that makes millions off of you wanted you to play in their game

As much as it pains me to upvote a L1U fan, here is one that is actually correct.

I did not. I did go to college as a veteran and went to a community College and university near me.

never played football

Played many sports, went to a small school where nobody gets D1 scholarships.

Most athletes, even at D1 level don't have this, its a very small %.

The athletes I was around at college and university were some of the most entitled people I've ever seen. They are complete distractions in the classroom, that's if they were ever in class. They get hooked up and sucked off by teachers and administrators who only do it because they know they are on a team.

This isn't all their fault as the places of higher education have made it worse, but these kids who play a sport and give a commitment, should uphold their commitment.

Okay,How many players has this actually happened to?

I believe Alonzo Highsmith and the othe Miami RB in '01 both had knee injuries in bowl games but BOTH were playing for a NC...so neither were in a "meaningless" bowl game and neither of the injuries happened recently.
