Why shouldn’t Aggie get a shot at a rematch? No different than ND gets shellacked in their rematch with a CFP contender.

Oh I agree. I’m just looking at it from the committee’s standpoint.
They don’t care whose deserving or the best. If that was so, Ohio State would not even be in the top 10 after playing half a schedule.
But the committee is all about ratings and money. Not necessarily the best 4 teams...no matter what they claim publicly

What was A&M best win ? What was their best loss? Ask the same question for ND and then decide.

The difference is they first beat the perennial team they just got whipped by showing they could win. A&M didn't do that. You have to beat Bama along with everyone else to get in or be in the East and win out avoiding them altogether and then either win the SEC championship or lose a close one to have a legitimate shot.
