Hey! I said that!

I don’t know, if I was a SC fan right now I would be incredibly pissed. It’s not like Oklahoma is even in the running for anything significant and it’s not like he was the HC there or even a coordinator. Stay on as the TE coach so that they can shore up a 3rd place finish in the Big 12? WTF? That just makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Maybe it wouldn’t have made much difference but I would want the guy I just hired on MY campus doing MY bidding. Not splitting attention on something that doesn’t even matter. I get why you are pissed Lonnie

Thank you. And as the Florida fan said in that thread, this class will be our leaders 3 years from now. For most coaches year 3 is their make or break year.

And for the record, I'm more frustrated than pissed. I (intentionally) overplayed my hand/position in the thread on the main page. (Don't always believe 100% of what you read from me.) Anyway the fact remains that while I admire his loyalty to his former employer, he should be working for us now.

I'm just tired of sucking at football, and with transfers and a class like this, we're going to suck at football for a long, long time.

Right now, without any more off season transfers, SC only has 68 returning scholarship players for next year. With the 9 that signed today that's only 77 scholarship players.

Hopefully Beamer can exceed expectations (against everyone but my Tigers of course). If you guys look better than expected next year then perhaps he can pull off a big class next cycle and shorten the down period a bit.

It’s a tough spot, but don’t you guys have a 5* QB coming in? That can mask a lot of deficiencies
