I'll attach this from both angles, why we would be skeptical and why he would.
You mentioned plenty of numbers so now I'll Mention a couple: zero. That's the number of recruits he's signed. With our team talent wise being a pile of shite, why role the dice on someone who's never done it after dying that at the hc level. One: that's how many years he's actually called plays
Now from his side. He's been a coach for 17 years. Coaching at the college level was an option each of those years. Over and above that he been out of the NFL for 4 years and chose to go to arena football than to pursue college. He doesn't want us, we shouldn't want him

Not once did I suggest we hire him. Just that its crazy what all is out there thats been forgotten. I did however reference in sarcasm how dumb we'd be to let him solely coach linebackers. I never suggested he even need to scout them.
As far as him not wanting to coach college, thats pure speculation on your part. None of us know why he is where he is.
