Governors Grant near Chapin is REALLY nice

GG is in Lexington near the lake.

I highly recommend Lexington if you’re starting or have a family and for school districts go Lex 1. Not a long commute to Cola but very much a small town suburb vibe. Also, the lake is really close.

The development is moving from Lexington towards Gilbert on 378 or Hwy 1 but it gets real rural real quick.

Depending on what you want to spend anything north of I20 past the 378 exit headed west is good. South of I20 gets a little methy.

If that’s too far out you have to go up I26 to Chapin for nicer areas. I don’t know anything about Northeast Cola. Steer clear of Irmo....it’s in the decline.

If your looking for a hipster vibe with no kids you can go closer to Cola in West Columbia by the river but be prepared to pay for private schools.
