I really hope we feed him in the 2nd half. I don't have faith we will, but it's what I think needs to happen.

Smith is far and away the best back for this system, which means we won’t utilize him. And frick Pio!

Smith hits the hole hard and gains positive yardage. Boyd is auditioning for Dancing With The Stars.

Boyd was one of the few who actually looked like he was playing with 100% effort last year.
Willing to give him a pass unlike some here it seems... many seem to forget every other team repeatedly teed off on him last year as the only viable threat.
Smith is a blast to watch, but I don't begrudge Boyd getting reps... there's bigger fish to fry with this .500 team.

7-9 carries a game is nowhere near enough for how Smith is running the ball. It's literally directly making us worse on offense.
Switch the carry attempts between running backs and I'm perfectly happy. Boyd should obviously get his reps, but he should not be getting the bulk of the carries anymore.

I understand this but agree with Drewbie.......play the best back.
Boyd should start 100% imo just because he hung with the new staff and carried us last year. But honestly Smith should be getting 60% of the carries until Boyd proves otherwise.
