Of poor special teams coaching or does he just lack the talent?

I'm already at the point where I would rather see us just go for it rather then try to kick a FG.

I'll be interested to see what offseason moves Sam makes to improve our ST play for next season.

(And yes, it's pretty nice to be able to complain about something after a win)

We’ve got commits from a highly rated kicker and punter.

I mean yeah he missed from 22 but also drilled one from 49. I'm not ready to claim the sky is falling yet.

Yeah, I looked it up and his stats show 6 out of 9. Thought he missed a couple yesterday and last Saturday, but I guess I'm wrong.

He missed a PAT against Auburn, so that may be one you're thinking of.

The holder dropped the snap, I don’t think we even got the kick off

Weird how I misremembered that. My mistake.

The short miss yesterday was due to a bad hold...it wasn't on the kicker.

This seems to be the more recurring theme. Not so much the kicker shanking them.

It flipped from the punter to the 4th string QB (Lindsey). Which is part of the problem = special team coaching. I'm willing to give about everyone a pass this year due to first year and all the other shitty things they had to deal with but the special teams needs to improve greatly before next season.

That's what I think too. After a while, you start expecting bad execution and begin correcting for it. I don't think most of it is Reed's fault, though.
