If Kirby allows Monken to open up his offense the way he sees fit goes a long ways toward rallying the fan base. The man seems too stubborn to even entertain the idea.

There is just no evidence of this. So far there has been 183 pass plays and 204 run plays. Take out Kentucky (where their defense lent ourselves to the run) and it's about even. The offense has been open enough but the execution, chiefly at QB, is what is lacking.
